ABDOMINAL PAIN R.F.T., Male., 69 years old. I was called to attend this patient for the first time in an emergency situation, a little before midnight; he was interned and with an extremely bad prognostic.He was semi-comatose, with a chart of adominal pain that had began, subtly, 24 hours ago.There was not already any clinical diagnosis, it was on investigation. He presented cold sudoriferous, all along the body.Even with the air conditioned turned on, he complained about heat all the time.Sitting on the bed, holding himself with both hands on his wife's shoulders, head going forward. He presented intense abdominal pains - "it looks like a knife entering my stomach". The hands were cold, cyanotic fingers and bluish nails.Cold feet during the pains. A very distended abdomen, hardened, principally on the right side < of the abdominal pains with the inspiration and the movement > sitting and grabbing himself (hanging himself) on who is next him. Inflated hands.Pains in the hands by the movements. Didnt admit to be left alone, wanted anyone by his side all the time - "What have i done to deserve this pain?" The patient kept a deep expression of suffering. Desperated with the pains, very afraid of what could happen, fear of death. He had pneumonia 10 days before, administrated with antibiotics. The assistant doctor communicated to the family that the case did not have a solution, that probably the patient would die that night.

PRESCRIPTION: ACON. 9CH, EACH 15 MINUTES. The patient obtained a progressive improvement of the pains.Initiated the treatment with Aconitum napellus at 3am; by 4am he could lay down and sleep.By morning he was very recovered and with no pain.We didnt get to know what really happened, the Homeopathy cured the symptoms even before there was the diagnosis.
